Multiple Child Discounts
Fees are reduced by $25/child for the third child per family that is registered each season.
Late Registration
Registrations between February 1 and February 14 will incur an increase of $10. Registrations from February 16 on will be added to the ATLL waitlist and added to teams as slots become available.

Placement Preference
ATLL is a league that strives to place each player into a league level and on a team that will provide them with the best opportunity to learn and to compete. The goals of ATLL are to provide a positive environment for learning the sport of baseball and the values of good sportsmanship and team play. Parental preference is noted only at the T-Ball, 2A and 3A American Divisions when making a placement decision. Final league placement is determined by the ATLL Player Agent assessment.
Player Evaluation
Regular season evaluations will be held on the following dates at Champions Baseball Academy BY INVITE ONLY!!
- February 6 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- February 13 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- February 23 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
- February 28 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
All players who did not play in an ATLL League in 2015 and who are playing 3A American, 3A National, Majors or Intermediate will be contacted by the
to sign up for a time slot. Returning players needing to attend an evaluation day will also be contacted by the
to sign up for a time slot.
How Teams Are Formed
Teams are formed in the following order:
- Managers selected for teams
- Child(ren) of manager assigned to team
- Manager selects 2 coaches and 1 umpire for his/her team
- Child(ren) of coaches and umpire assigned to team
AAA National and Above
- Top pitchers (from prior season or Player Evaluation Day) are spread out across the teams
- Top catchers (from prior season or Player Evaluation Day) are spread out across the teams
- Players are spread out across the teams based on prior season or Player Evaluation Day scores
T-Ball, AA & AAA American
- Players are spread out across the teams based on school attended, desire to play with another player or for a certain manager.
All-Star Team Placement (ONLY Ages 9 and above)
All-Star teams are selected based on Manager and Coach nominations and a separate evaluation tryout in May. All-Star candidates are encouraged to attend all ATLL Skills Clinics during regular season. In order to participate in All-Star play, players must be able to commit to a rigorous schedule and total availability throughout the All-Star calendar (end of June through July).
Our Season
ATLL regular season play begins in early April and runs through late June.
ATLL All-Star play begins at the close of the Division Tournament, end of June, and runs through All-Star Tournament play in late July.
Challengers
The Challenger Division provides boys and girls with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the game of baseball. The Division also features “buddies” (players generally from the Majors Division) who help their partners by assisting the players when needed during a game.
ATLL Match Program
An outreach program developed by the Reds Community Fund. It meets during the regular season and offers baseball-themed events during off-season, including participation in Reds Fest.
